40 Days of Creativity from Jerusalem for Jerusalem

For 3,000 years, Jerusalem has whispered and shouted its secrets to those who listen. Sometimes with a wink; sometimes in the open. And the world watches. Waits. Misses. Longs. Sometimes even loses its mind.

Jerusalem moves to an impossible rhythm – one that exists only where ancient white stones, cold and worn with age, meet the sleek glass of modern towers. Where people from distant yet neighboring worlds cross paths on a street corner and greet each other in a thousand different ways. This is a rhythm that runs fast and slow, forward and backward in time. From this relentless movement, extraordinary stories are born.

The Mandel Foundation and the Jerusalem Foundation invite you to come listen, see, feel and dance to the rhythm and the stories of this city. Our city.

For 40 days and nights, SidraTarbut 2025 will bring together Jerusalem and the entire country through a rich, vibrant and profound series of events and artistic encounters stretching across the east and west of the city. Music, dance, theater, film and performances will unfold in familiar and surprising settings – some transformed just for this moment.

Some of Jerusalem’s most iconic films and television series will come to life in a spectacular musical performance featuring some 50 musicians. Robotic animals will roam in a mysterious safari. A fashion magazine will be launched. A conference on emotional resilience will take place. The series will include a nightly artistic journey through the Ein Yael forests, and the festival will culminate in a powerful Selichot performance at the Tower of David, the most Jerusalem-like location there is. And that's just the beginning.

This year marks five years since the founding of SidraTarbut. Even in times of war, particularly in times of social and national divisions and uncertainty, we remain committed to making and sharing culture that is rooted in life, shaped by diversity, and driven by connection  –  a reflection of Jerusalem’s beauty, which despite the challenges, continues to shine through between the heavy, ancient stones.

This is our way of saying:
Jerusalem, we’re still here. And we will keep telling your story to the world.
